We have a very inspirational day of singing, praying and feasting on God's Word and a wonderful time of Fellowship and ending around 12:30 with Lunch served and as much fellowshipping as you would like to do! ALL Ladies are invited!
- Vacation Bible School has been held yearly since 2001 (Until Covid hit and has had to be postponed until 2022) . This Years VBS is being planned for July 15-18, 2024 with the help of Mt. Vernon Church of Christ in Missouri. Our VBS is always Very Successful with Many children from the area coming and learning about God's Love for them and about Gods Word! Our lessons this year will be "Joshua and the Walls of Jericho", "The Wise and Foolish Man" and "Jesus our Good Shepherd". We feel Our VBS is a very evangelistic tool that we have here at Lakeshore. We have baptized one mother and her son, and we have taught countless souls about Christ and planted seeds and touched many hearts for Christ, and we are confident that God gives the increase.
- Our 2023 VBS was held with a closing assembly for children & parents with a Hot Dog Roast & Ice Cream Social afterwards. Our theme was Walking in Sonshine, with lessons on Moses, Abraham and Esther. The West 7th church in Columbia. Tennessee came and helped us with our very successful VBS. We had 38 children from the community plus all our members and the visiting church and had a very successful Vacation Bible School! Classes were for children 4 years old through 4th grade, and a fun devotional/games gathering for all other students 5th grade through teens.
- Our youth and adults serve Beechwood Hills Christian Youth Camp as campers, counselors in training, counselors and volunteers in many other ways. Each year we collect paper products for use during the camp weeks. We delivered a large supply of Napkins, Paper Towels and Toilet paper.
- We have a Pantry for those in need; members bring in items on a weekly basis to keep our pantry supplied. We also have a freezer pantry which we receive donations from a local food company.
- We recently added a "Blessing Box" for the community to "help themselves". We keep the box supplied with non perishable items Breakfast foods, peanut butter and Jelly, Pasta dinners, Juice, water and school supplies etc. The Blessing Box is well received by our community.
- Renucci Hospitality House connected with Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is a place where Lakeshore Church of Christ Members prepare and serve dinner once a quarter for guests staying at the Hospital with their loved ones. We prepare and serve a home-cooked meal to all who would like to come.
