  • Our 2025 Ladies Day is being held April 26, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with Speaker Becky Blackmon from Hewitt, Texas.  She will be speaking on Esther and The Providence of God.   Becky is the author of 5  Women's books with another one planning to come out yet this year.   We will have a very inspirational day of singing, praying and feasting on God's Word and a wonderful time of Fellowship and ending around 12:30 with Lunch  (Potatoe Bar) being served and as much fellowshipping as you would like to do!  We hope to see lots of women attending this great event!
  • Vacation Bible School has been held yearly since 2001 (Until Covid hit and has had to be postponed until 2022) .  This Years  VBS is planned for July 14-17, 2025 with a theme of "Finding God"  talking about God and His love for us,  Lesson 1. God Made Me Special, 2. God is Everywhere.  3. God's Love.  And day 4 is a wrap up day with an Ice Cream Social afterwards.

  • Last years VBS was held with the help of  Mt. Vernon Church of Christ Youth group and leaders from Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and we are looking forward to them coming and helping again this year.  Our VBS is always Very Successful with Many children from the area coming and learning about God's Love for all.   Our VBS is a very evangelistic tool that we have here at Lakeshore.  We have baptized one mother and her son, and we have taught countless souls about Christ and planted seeds and touched many hearts for Christ, and we are confident that God gives the increase.   We had 38 children from the community plus all our members and the visiting church and had a very successful Vacation Bible School!  Classes were for children 4 years old through 4th grade, and a fun devotional/games gathering for all other students 5th grade through teens.
  • Our youth and adults serve Beechwood Hills Christian Youth Camp as campers, counselors in training, counselors and volunteers in many other ways.  Each year we collect paper products for use during the camp weeks.  We delivered a large supply of Napkins, Paper Towels and Toilet paper.
  • We have a Pantry for those in need; members bring in items on a weekly basis to keep our pantry supplied. We also have a freezer pantry which we receive donations from a local food company.

  • We have a "Blessing Box" for the community to "help themselves".  We keep the box supplied with non perishable items Breakfast foods, peanut butter and Jelly, Pasta dinners, Juice, water and school supplies etc.  The  Blessing Box is well received by our community.
  • Renucci Hospitality House connected with Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is a place where Lakeshore Church of Christ Members prepare and serve dinner once a quarter for guests staying at the Hospital with their loved ones.  We prepare and  serve a home-cooked meal to all who would like to come.

We have a yearly Free garage Sale to help those in our community who are in need. This years Free Sale will be held June 28, 2025.   We had over 200 people come in 2024 to find much needed items.   This is just another way for us to help others in our community.  Information about the church was well received and much goodwill was done during this time.
